The Challenge
7awi Media Group, a leading digital media network spanning lifestyle, entertainment, automotive, health, and gaming, needed a cohesive brand identity to unify its multiple verticals while reflecting its innovative and regionally relevant vision. The challenge was to create a system flexible enough to accommodate diverse content platforms yet strong enough to establish a recognizable, iconic presence.
Strategic Approach
Conducted a brand audit and market analysis to identify perception gaps, competitive positioning, and audience expectations.
Crafted a modern, unified visual identity, including logo, color palette, typography, and iconography, that could scale across multiple verticals.
Introduced a creative brand metaphor: the “i” in 7awi was transformed into a wizard stick, symbolizing the brand as “The Wizards of Arabic Content,” emphasizing expertise, creativity, and storytelling mastery.
Developed a modular identity framework capable of adapting to sub-brands, campaigns, and microsites while maintaining cohesion at the group level.
